Slow stitching is a growing trend, it is calming, expressive, and is a very portable craft. In this particular session, sashiko will be the major focus, so for those of you who would like to experience this kind of stitching….this is the class for you. This class is a way to learn and explore different slow sewing techniques like appliqué, hand quilting, Kantha stitching, embroidery, boro, or pretty much anything you might like to experience. Each person works on their own project with help and consultation available. These workshops with Andrea Paul are a collaborative way to explore your creativity in using a variety of techniques to embellish quilts, runners, garments or any type of textile creation. Class members will help shape the direction of the class.
